Working with puppeteers and teachers, who then also worked together with the pupils, gave us the opportunity to find out how our methods work at the interface of citizenship education and arts education. Artistic approaches to citizenship education bring particularly lasting experiences for students. They develop a lot of transversal competences and experience self-efficacy, a sense of community and creativity.
